A 3-day small group tour of four Southwest parks.
This three-day loop from Las Vegas links four of the Southwest's biggest names in one trip: Zion, Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon, with stops at Antelope Canyon and the Painted Desert along the way. Bindlestiff Tours runs it in a 14-passenger minibus with oversized windows and caps the group at 13 travellers.
The route moves fast. Day one covers Zion, then Bryce Canyon, where the camping option spends the night at Ruby's campground. Day two runs through Antelope Canyon, which costs extra to enter, and on to Goulding's campground or the historic lodge at Monument Valley. Day three takes in the Painted Desert, roughly four hours at the Grand Canyon South Rim, and a pass by the Las Vegas Strip on the way back.
It suits travellers with limited time who want the highlights without planning the logistics themselves. Hotel pickup is not included, so travellers need to make their own arrangements to reach the departure point.
Three days, four parks and a lot of desert road time means a few practical things are worth knowing before booking.
Common issues. Dinner is never included, and bottled water is not supplied. One reviewer was caught out by additional fees for activities they expected to be in the price. The tour is not wheelchair accessible, there is no hotel pickup or drop-off, and the minimum age is 7, with under-17s needing an accompanying adult. Cancellation is strict: less than 14 full days before departure means no refund and no changes accepted. Depending on daylight, the Monument Valley Jeep tour may shift to a sunrise departure.
No. Hotel pickup and drop-off are both excluded, so travellers make their own way to the departure point in Las Vegas. The listing notes the tour is near public transportation. Budget extra time on the first morning to get there.
With the camping option, three lunches and two breakfasts are included. Breakfast is only included with camping, not with the hotel option, and dinner is never included. Lunches are make-your-own sandwiches served with fruit and potato chips, and vegetarian meals can be requested. Bottled water is not provided.
National park entry fees for the tour stops are included, except for an additional fee that may apply to non-U.S. residents, which is USD 100 per person and collected in destination. Antelope Canyon admission is a separate cost and is not part of the tour price. The Navajo-guided Jeep tour in Monument Valley is included.
Yes, from age 7 upward, and children under 17 must travel with an accompanying adult. With lodging, children share a room with the adults in their party, up to four people per room with two queen beds. With camping, tents are solo or two-person, so mention your group makeup at booking.
A full refund requires cancelling at least 14 full days before the start time, based on local time. Inside that window there is no refund and changes are not accepted. If your plans are loose, treat the two-week mark as the real deadline.
Warm socks, a sweater or hooded jacket, hiking shoes, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen and a hat are all recommended, since conditions can swing between warm and cool. Bring a refillable water bottle for refills at comfort stops. Luggage is capped at 44lbs, or 20kg, per person.
